Is there an elephant in the room?

elephant in the room

The things that go unsaid.. Those elephants in the room

That’s where the biggest challenge to team effectiveness comes from.

Like the team member who is constantly late for all meetings

Or the boss who constantly shift directions, and leaves the team absolutely confused

Or the team member who does the bare minimum yet takes all the credit?

Things that irritate us, make us think less of our teammates, and yet we are uncomfortable voicing,

And when we don’t speak about these things, they build up and at some point lead to disconnects disengagement, and start impacting outcomes

Yet most teams prefer not to have these uncomfortable conversations because speaking about them can upset relationships.

And sometimes you are not sure that speaking about then will things will change for the better

But one of things that creates a high-performing team is the ability to have conversations around the uncomfortable.

Because  conversations around the “uncomfortable” are exactly what teams needs to have to be more effective

Team coaching empowers teams to have open and honest conversations about the hardest of issues.
