About Me

Hi! My name is Rachel Gojer and I am a high achievers coach.

By that I mean that I coach high-achieving individuals and teams to help them stay focused, manage overwhelm and move ahead with confidence and power.

Things you should know about me

  • I am very passionate about my work. I am high on commitment, and respectful of people’s trust in me.
  • Being organized and meticulous comes easy to me. I enjoy it. It’s what makes me skillful. It’s what helps me deliver excellence.
  • I don’t believe in one version of perfect. I aim for excellence and I believe that there are many ways to do something really well.
  • I am a life long learner. I constantly work towards mastering my skill. I believe the more you know the more there is to know.  That’s what feeds the insatiable learner in me.
  • I don’t have answers to everything.  But, I will help you find the answers that are right for you. And  that’s my super power!

My Passion

I am extremely passionate about working with people who want to make a difference and want to get the most out of their careers, business, and lives.

I prepare individuals and teams to take on new and higher challenges, build mental strategies for success, recognize and address limiting beliefs and self-sabotaging behaviors and forging their path to your success.

One of my biggest learnings in life is that the highest levels of success occur when we optimise our strengths. We can learn from others but when we start honouring our uniqueness and individuality real and sustainable success happens.

What makes me qualified to do what I do?

For most of my life, I have been called a high achiever, key talent, and top performer both in my academics and in my professional life. While this may sound a tad bit immodest, it gives me a strong insight into how life works at that end of the spectrum. Most people believe that if you are a high achiever you have it all figured out. Having been there I know that nothing could be further from the truth.

Being a high achiever is not a constant state. There are times when the control that you would like to have on your career or life starts slipping. At other times changes in the environment confuse your inner compass and you start struggling to get what you want. It is only when I have been able to align with my inner strengths and resources that I have been able to produce the best results…And now I help people do just that!

Sometimes the right support at the right time is all you need to get back on track and move ahead with the power you know you have!

My journey before coaching

I started coaching in 2010 as a natural progression from my interest in leading and managing business and teams. Before becoming a coach I worked for 14 years managing technical support delivery and operations in Multi-product, Multi-medium and Multi-Geography environments. I hold an engineering graduate degree and have strong experience in IT and management.

My journey in the corporate world started as an engineer . I then progressed through the ranks to become a team lead, a manager and business head. Coming from a  humble and non corporate background I had to create my own path. I did find great mentors along the way but it was still challenging to make decisions and pick options on my own.

This make me passionate about mentoring my employees to create and support them on their career paths. This convinced me of the power of human potential. I started reading more about high performance teams and individuals. This was also the time I got introduced to the concepts of coaching.

My jump into entrepreneurship

As I learnt more and more about coaching, got certified and started practicing I realised this was more than a skill for me.

It was my ikigai.  It was my calling.

It still took me 2 years to overcome

  1. The  social conditioning( job security is important?),
  2. My self-doubts ( What do I know of running an independent business?, Am I ready? Am I good enough?)

But I knew that I would regret not trying over trying and failing.

And here I am after all these years. Not only do I have a very successful practice today but I’ve also had the honor to have coached some of the most successful leaders and business owners across the world!!!
