I guess Yoda had it right when he said, “Do. Or do not. There is no try.”
When we are 100% confident and committed we are more likely to say “I will do this.”
If not we say,” I will try to get this done”
The word try is an indicator of:
- I’m not sure I will do this.
- I’m not sure I can do this.
- I may or may not get round to doing this
- I may have other priorities.
Watch your language for the word “Try”.
And check what happens when you drop the word “try”.
