The goal shouldn’t just be to have more women leaders —it should be to redefine leadership itself.
Because the problem isn’t JUST a lack of women at the top.
It is that leadership has been defined by traditionally masculine power structures for TOO long.
It has been a system that rewards:
> Competition over collaboration.
> Ego over wisdom.
> Power over purpose.
What this has meant is that for women to succeed in leadership, they have had to mould themselves to align with these systems.
They have been told to be more assertive.
They have had to work harder and longer for the same rewards(and sometimes lesser)
But the world is changing, and so is the need for leadership and leadership systems.
What we need is a more balanced leadership system.
Because the leadership for the future isn’t about masculine or feminine gender.
We need leaders who—regardless of gender— are able to integrate traditional masculine and feminine traits.
> Like strength and empathy
> Or the head and the heart.
> And ambition with compassion.
The best leaders are not defined by gender. They are defined by balance.
