The biggest lie ever told: “Do what you love and you won’t need to work another day in your life.”
Not only is this completely untrue, but it also sets wrong expectations.
I have been coaching for > 11 years now. I love what I do. My work energizes me and I am excited to do it every single day.
BUT, make no mistake. It is still a lot of work.
In fact, I have probably worked way harder in my years of building a coaching business than I did in any job.
Because when you are truly passionate about what you do, you always work harder to make it a success.
And just because you love something does not mean that the path is easier.
So for those of you searching for the work that you love, here’s what I say:
” Do what you love and you will work long hard hours.
But you will not lack the purpose and motivation to get to work. “
