We hereby declare you a “Team”

This is literally how most teams are put together in an organisation.

🟡We hire people for their skills
🟡And then hope that they perform well together

The new team and team leader are expected to ” figure out” how to work well as a team.

Sometimes we throw in a couple of team-building days to help them along.

And sure that may help BUT it is rarely enough.

In most scenarios this is what happens:

🔵 The quiet ones go into their shell

At the least, the team is unable to fully utilize its potential.

2. A secure leader with a clear leadership vision
3. Well-defined processes and systems
4. Deep understanding of stakeholder needs
5. Open and honest communication and psychological safety among team members
