Vacations should be part of your business investments

I vote for vacations to be classified as a “business investment.”

 

Here’s why:

 

I’m just back from a week at the beach:

 

1. My physical energy is soaring and I am able to do so much more in a day
2. My creativity is high and I have a ton of new ideas I want to work on
3. My mind is super clear and I am more present in everything I am doing

 

 

In short, my productivity is super high!

 

I’m guessing everyone experiences this surge after a time of rest, relaxation and rejuvenation.

 

When we come back from these breaks we are able to offer so much more to our jobs, our families and ourselves.

 

So if breaks increase productivity shouldn’t they be part of our business plan?

 

And not just vacations, why not include a day off in a month or short breaks through the day?
