It is sometimes one of the hardest things to do, isn’t it?
Especially when you are in the middle of exciting and interesting things.
And it’s even harder for high achievers.
Not because of external circumstances but their internal conditioning.
There is almost a feeling of guilt in taking time off when there is so much to do.
Part of it is of course not wanting to drop any of the balls they are juggling
But part of it is also the high standards they have for themselves.
But here is the catch.
If you keep working without taking regular time off to refuel, recharge and rejuvenate you will see a drop in productivity, creativity and impact.
So if you are a high achiever here’s what you can do.
🔵 Focus on high-quality, high-impact tasks over quantity. Less is more.
🔵 Learn to delegate. Focus on work where you add the most value.
🔵 Ask for help when you need it. Not everything needs to be solved by you.
🔵 Schedule self-care activities in advance.
And TAKE that break!
