There is so much literature on leadership styles that a few lifetimes would not be enough to read it all!
Much less apply it.
Leaders are constantly taught to develop leadership styles to cope with different situations and environments.
But this often leaves them guessing in the moment on what style would work best.
Because every team and situation is unique.
But what if we took the guesswork out of the leadership?
What if instead we encouraged leaders to speak to their team and agree on the leadership style that would work best for them to help them achieve their goals?
A couple of simple questions asked more frequently.
✅ What do you need from me to be able to do your job well?
✅ How can I support you better?
If the whole intention of different leadership styles is to support the team better – who best to tell you what works than the people experiencing your leadership?
