How many things should you handle?

The number one thing that will impact your focus and your productivity :
“Taking on more things than you should handle.”

One of the things that I see most high achievers do is overestimate the number of things they should handle.

They start with one or two really great ideas that perfectly align with their goals.

And then they get distracted by the next interesting thing or the next brilliant new initiative.

And before you know it you have 20 things on your list competing for attention.

Now the question is not whether you can handle these many initiatives.

Because you probably can.

The more important question is, “Should you handle so many things?”

The clear answer is NO.

Because the more things you add to your list of to-do, the more you will dilute your effort, time and focus.

It’s better to focus on a few things and do them really well rather than split your time, attention and effort along many things and leave everything half completed.
